Emily Warford Ivey
Emily Warford Ivey is an experienced artist from Jacksonville, Florida. She has been a commissioned pet portrait artist for over twenty years. She began her mobile painting lesson business the "Crafty Taxi" to bring the joy of art to the doors of budding artists who want to learn! Born and raised in rural Kentucky, Emily grew to appreciate nature and animals at an early age and it is reflected in much of her work. She studied English Literature, Poetry, as well as Art and Art History at Georgia State University in Atlanta from 2000-2005. She enjoys utilizing all types of media and materials when creating a piece, and this approach to art has led her to designing and creating a wide variety of things from fabric quilts to painted guitars. She is a strong supporter of environmental protection and education, as well as animal rescue organizations of all kinds, and often seeks to lend her talents to fundraisers for these causes.
